Poem: Endless bridge

Author: Marija Lazarevic

A bridge without end from a dream
the handrail is his desolation
below him another
spread further petals yellow
it spilled from the sky
treadmill gauze
they touch carelessly
six feet in a pair.

Archaic steps
grabs strongly do not give
a crumb of his tread
trampled on petals
just a few of them
in an endless landscape
on the wings of cavalry
the fairy trembles.
